Description

You will lead the Research Informatics team to build and maintain scalable data infrastructure, scientific pipelines, and software tools that empower discovery scientists to accelerate drug discovery against RAS-addicted cancers.

Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Research Informatics, or related field
• Strong understanding of early discovery research, DMTA cycles, small molecule drug discovery, and SAR
• 16+ years (BS) or 14+ years (MS) or 12+ years (PhD) experience in scientific informatics in biotech/pharma R&D
• Experience with on-prem/cloud hybrid informatics solutions (AWS or Azure)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, scientific data integration, and visualization

Responsibilities

• Lead Research Informatics team overseeing software engineering and informatics professionals
• Define and implement strategy for research data infrastructure including SaaS, cloud/on-prem computing, data capture, visualization and software tools
• Collaborate with research stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions
• Oversee implementation and optimization of scientific software (Benchling, Genedata Screener, etc.)
• Drive internal software and data engineering, including APIs, web apps, and workflow automation
