💼 About This Role

You'll provide in-person advocacy and support to patients before, during, and after childbirth, promoting health equity and patient safety. As a key member of Mahmee's doula team, you'll help build a new standard for doula careers with full-time stability and benefits.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide continuous bedside childbirth doula support during labor and delivery
• Conduct prenatal and postpartum doula appointments, including birth planning and education
• Communicate proactively with patients to promote trust and inclusion
• Escalate medical concerns to clinical team members promptly

📋 Requirements

• Knowledge of birth doula and postpartum doula standards of practice and ethics
• Experience with community birth trends and patient-centered approaches
• Ability to provide trauma-informed, anti-racist, culturally responsive care
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and EHR documentation
