Description

You will support the development and construction of tooling for Starship and Super Heavy Booster by owning, installing, and commissioning automation assets. You'll implement reliability improvements, commission hardware like PLCs and sensors, and program PLCs and HMIs. Your work enables safe, economical, and reliable access to space.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 2+ years in controls technician or specialist role
• Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming
• Experience with industrial bus protocols (Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP)
• Experience selecting and sizing electrical components (servo motors, VFDs, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Own and execute industrial automation projects
• Develop and upgrade data acquisition and control systems
• Provide technical support for controls technicians and engineering groups
• Commission new hardware and perform continuous improvements
• Program PLCs and HMIs according to engineering design
