Description

As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer at Lanes & Planes, you'll work on improving our SaaS platform for customers and internal teams. You'll collaborate with the Product team to implement new features, working both independently and with other developers. Our team values lean, pragmatic, and fun development with minimal bureaucracy and meetings.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails in backend or full-stack roles
• At least 4 years at a senior level with expert-level knowledge of the entire Rails ecosystem
• Experience in a start-up/scale-up on a customer-facing application with a user-centric approach
• Clear and effective communication style, ownership of work, and ability to understand complex systems through end-to-end thinking
• Live in Germany and work as a permanent employee fully remote or willing to move

Responsibilities

• Work both individually and in collaboration with other engineers on Ruby on Rails projects, demonstrating strong responsibility and project management
• Develop customer-facing application and internal management tools with a focus on customer orientation and holistic thinking
• Develop, test, and deploy code with the support of your Team Lead and in close collaboration with Product
• Work iteratively and deploy often
