Description

You will work on credit ratings for debt instruments backed by middle market corporate loan portfolios, including direct lending investments and CLOs. Responsibilities include evaluating transaction structures, analyzing portfolios, conducting due diligence, and supporting monitoring and research. This role focuses on private credit and capital formation solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Math
• 2-4 years of experience in corporate credit analysis, private credit, direct lending, CLO analysis, or structured finance
• Basic understanding of corporate loan structures and credit analysis
• Proficiency in Excel; financial modeling and cash flow analysis preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in new issuance rating process including evaluation of capital structures, legal protections, collateral quality, and cash flow dynamics
• Analyze portfolios of corporate loans, bonds, and other credit instruments
• Participate in due diligence meetings with asset managers and issuers
• Prepare rating memoranda and new issuance reports
• Support ongoing monitoring and surveillance of outstanding transactions
