💼 About This Role

You'll design aerial fiber plant and perform make-ready engineering for pole attachments at Sonic, an independent ISP. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance fiber projects from survey to construction.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create make-ready engineering documents and pole loading calculations.
• Interpret field survey data to design aerial fiber plant.
• Work with departments and vendors to compile pole attachment application documents.
• Escalate project issues to Plant Project Manager and team.

📋 Requirements

• Three years of outside plant survey and make-ready design for aerial fiber.
• Thorough knowledge of General Order 95 and NESC.
• Experience with pole loading programs like O-Calc, Spida-Calc or EZ-Load.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with joint pole new attachment permitting.
• Familiarity with joint pole regulatory compliance requirements.
