Description

You will lead the design and implementation of automated testing solutions across our platform, ensuring reliability and quality. Working with engineering and product teams, you'll drive test strategies, mentor junior engineers, and advocate for best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience
• Experience at a similar level in a mature Engineering team
• Technical expertise in designing and scaling automated test frameworks with Cypress or Playwright
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Ability to architect automation solutions across frontend, backend, and APIs
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data validation (SQL/NoSQL), and microservice-based architectures
• Proven track record of impactful contributions
• Highly driven and proactive
• Meticulous attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of automated test plans, suites, and frameworks across multiple projects
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in automation skills
• Maintain and scale test automation infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines
• Perform targeted manual testing including exploratory and edge-case validation
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
• Drive cross-team initiatives to improve QA processes and engineering quality standards
• Monitor, triage, and investigate test failures, raising actionable bugs
• Influence technical strategy for performance, load, and security testing
