💼 About This Role

You'll own the full software stack connecting factory to vehicle, from MES and flashing pipelines to diagnostics and data infrastructure. Your systems will directly influence factory throughput and vehicle quality for next-gen autonomous defense platforms. This role combines production-critical software, controls automation, and fleet diagnostics in a high-velocity startup environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and lead a cross-functional team of manufacturing software, controls, and diagnostic engineers.
• Own end-to-end architecture for factory software including MES and build tracking.
• Design vehicle flashing, commissioning, and diagnostics pipelines inside the factory.
• Define vehicle–factory communication framework (CAN, Ethernet, telemetry).

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in software, controls, automated testing, or firmware systems.
• 5+ years leading technical teams or engineering organizations.
• Proven track record shipping production-critical software or managing large-scale automated test systems.
• Deep expertise in at least one: MES, PLCs, firmware flashing, vehicle diagnostics, test automation, or data pipelines.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in high-reliability or regulated industries (aerospace, defense, automotive).
• Familiarity with secure software development and cybersecurity for embedded systems.
• Prior involvement in smart manufacturing or factory digitization initiatives.
