Description

Lead the design, construction, and activation of a second orbital launch pad for the Starship program. You will manage civil and structural engineering projects, oversee contractors, and perform hands-on field engineering at Starbase, Texas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in civil/structural engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years of professional experience in civil/structural design, analysis, and construction
• Ability to work onsite in Starbase, Texas
• Experience with structural analysis software (SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, RISA-3D, ETABS) and drafting (AutoCAD, Revit, NX, Solidworks)
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee per ITAR

Responsibilities

• Lead project team and manage civil/structural engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
• Develop drawings, design documentation, and perform structural analysis for steel and concrete
• Write and manage construction contracts with subcontractors through close-out
• Provide onsite engineering inspections and resolve design/construction conflicts in real-time
• Manage civil and structural aspects of construction projects
