You'll coordinate special education services for Kโ€“5 students across 25 school buildings in an urban district. You'll ensure compliance with IDEA, MARSE, and MDE guidance while supporting inclusive practices and equitable access to instruction. This role combines leadership and compliance to directly impact student outcomes.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Oversee elementary special education programs across district buildings.
  • Ensure compliance with MARSE requirements and evaluation timelines.
  • Support IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with building administrators to implement MiMTSS.
  • Monitor student achievement using district and state data.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.
  • Valid Michigan School Administrator Certificate or eligibility.
  • Experience in elementary special education and knowledge of MARSE and MiMTSS.
  • Special Education approval preferred.
