Description

You will perform TIG welding, assembly, and fabrication of fluid systems and sub-assembly components for the Raptor rocket engine on the Starship Super Heavy system. Responsibilities include welding, casting repair, blueprint interpretation, and process improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 1+ years of aerospace TIG welding experience
• 1+ years of experience fitting welded assemblies
• Able to work overtime and weekends
• Able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Weld, assemble, and fabricate fluid systems and sub-assembly components
• Repair casting defects via grinding, welding, and blending
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations
• Use precision tools like micrometers, depth gauges, and calipers
• Improve operations, decrease process time, and streamline work processes
