Description

You will provide legal advice on significant regulatory matters across Asia-Pacific and support initiatives in the Middle East. You'll work with compliance teams, regulators, and outside counsel to manage licensing, regulatory changes, and new product development.

Requirements

• Eligible to work/live in Singapore
• Admitted as lawyer in Singapore or common law jurisdiction (UK, Australia, Hong Kong)
• 4-5 years legal experience focusing on financial services, payments, fintech, or regulatory advisory
• Ability to evaluate facts, identify legal issues, and provide practical advice
• Independent work capability and team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on payments and financial services regulatory matters across APAC and Middle East
• Support regional Compliance teams in building regulator relationships
• Assist with regulatory licensing, authorisation, and supervisory matters
• Research and analyze evolving regulations impacting strategic goals
• Support business teams in developing new services
