Description

As a Sr. Critical Lift & Transport Engineer, you will plan and execute complex lifts and transports for large-scale hardware, ensuring safety and compliance while coordinating with multiple teams to support mission-critical operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical and structural hardware
• 2+ years of experience with crane lifting, rigging, or transport operations
• Experience with crane and heavy transport operations in aerospace, energy, defense, or construction
• Strong understanding of mechanics including statics, dynamics, materials science, and failure modes

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, analysis, and execution of complex critical lifts and heavy-haul transports for large-scale hardware
• Serve as primary technical authority coordinating with structures, manufacturing, launch operations, and supply chain teams
• Develop critical lift plans, rigging designs, and transport configurations using computational tools
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assess hardware mass properties, structural capability, and load paths
• Oversee on-site operations including pre-lift dry runs, real-time monitoring, and post-operation debriefs
