Description
In this role, you will manage food deliveries, ensure product quality, and organize storage areas. You'll operate a pallet jack, check product temperatures, and maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment using food safety standards. You'll also assist with scheduling and supervising associates.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as supervisor and knowledge about food production
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Be able to stand, walk, stoop, reach and lift for a minimum of 8 hours
- High school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old
Responsibilities
- Manage deliveries of food, returns, and equipment into the kitchen
- Operate pallet jack to move pallets of product
- Check product temperatures as needed
- Ensure organization of dry storage, walk-ins, and freezers
- Uses food safety standards and FIFO methods to ensure freshness
