💼 About This Role

You'll strengthen MongoDB's core database products as a security engineer. You'll lead complex security projects from inception through completion and partner with engineering teams to design and implement security controls. This role offers the opportunity to define strategy for fuzzing, threat modeling, and container security.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and drive improvement for security programs like fuzzing and threat modeling.
• Advocate and lead complex security projects from inception to completion.
• Partner with engineering teams to design and implement security controls.
• Conduct security assessments including architecture review and penetration testing.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in application security, software security, or product security.
• Proven experience in C++ programming and security assessments on low-level codebases.
• Track record of partnering with software engineers on threat models and security design reviews.
• Demonstrated ownership of security initiatives with autonomous delivery.

✨ Nice to Have

• Subject matter expertise in database security or data security.
• Knowledge of database engines, database internals, or applied cryptography.
• Experience partnering with security researchers on CVEs.
