Description
As a State and Local Government Account Executive, you'll drive the adoption of safe, frontier AI across California state and other state and local agencies. You'll own the full sales cycle, from outreach through deployment, while navigating complex government procurement processes and becoming a trusted partner to customers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience in state and local government space
- Deep understanding of state and local government agency missions and technology needs
- Experience navigating complex state and local procurement processes and compliance requirements
- Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets in state and local government
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Responsibilities
- Drive new business and revenue growth within state and local government agencies, owning the full sales cycle
- Navigate state and local government procurement, including state-specific regulations and security standards
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across state, county, and municipal agencies
- Coordinate closely with cloud service providers (AWS, GCP) and system integrators for deployment
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to product teams
