💼 About This Role

You'll build and scale employment and litigation functions at a pioneering AI healthcare company. You'll act as a trusted advisor to people and finance teams, managing risk during rapid growth. This role offers a chance to shape the legal function at the intersection of AI and healthcare.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise on litigation and pre-litigation matters, including demand letters and information requests.
• Manage outside counsel and insurance providers to deliver favorable outcomes.
• Oversee subpoena requests with a pragmatic approach.
• Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks aligned with business priorities.
• Serve as trusted advisor on employment law across the employee lifecycle.

📋 Requirements

• J.D. required with active bar membership (California preferred).
• 7+ years of combined legal experience in litigation, investigations, and employment.
• In-house experience at a technology company and/or top-tier law firm.
• Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local employment laws.

• Familiarity with e-discovery strategy and management.
• Experience with executive compensation or sales commission arrangements.
• Prior experience focused on technology companies.
