💼 About This Role

You'll join DIS-TRAN Steel as a Production Welder on the night shift in our Pineville, LA facility. Your core impact will be performing high-quality welds on steel structures, ensuring accurate and efficient production while maintaining safety standards.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Position, align, and weld parts to form complete structures per blueprints.
• Examine workpieces to ensure specifications are met.
• Produce complete joint penetration welds meeting visual and ultrasonic inspection.

📋 Requirements

• Ability to interpret blueprints and read a tape measure.
• Welding certification or prior experience passing DIS-TRAN Steel's Welder II test.
• Capability to produce high-quality GMAW welds per AWS D1.1 code.
• Ability to properly set, maintain, and troubleshoot welding equipment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications or experience using moving machinery such as cranes.
