You'll audit medical records across outpatient specialties to ensure accurate coding, collaborating with engineering and client success teams to enhance our AI-driven platform. Your insights will directly improve product development and reduce billing errors. This fully remote role offers a chance to shape the future of medical coding at a fast-growing startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review medical records for correct diagnosis and procedure codes
• Audit physician documentation for coding accuracy
• Prepare audit results reports for engineering and client success teams
• Provide coding insights and education to accelerate product development

📋 Requirements

• Current AAPC or AHIMA coding certification
• 3+ years recently auditing procedure and diagnosis codes
• 3+ years auditing emergency department, primary care, or E/M leveling
• 3+ years auditing in a professional fee outpatient setting

✨ Nice to Have

• Multi-specialty auditing beyond ED and primary care
• Experience with inpatient coding and risk adjustment auditing
• Prior encoder experience
