Description

You will analyze operational processes, identify improvements, and translate regulatory needs into clear requirements to enhance AML workflows. You'll collaborate with Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to design scalable solutions that balance regulatory rigor with customer experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years in business analysis or product management within fintech or banking
• Strong AML Compliance background: RBA, KYC/CDD, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, SAR
• Proven ability to document requirements (BRDs, user stories) and design business processes (BPMN 2.0, UML)
• Experience launching or localizing compliance frameworks in new jurisdictions is a plus
• Fluent English and readiness to work in a Spanish-speaking environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analysis of Mexican regulatory requirements and design compliance architecture
• Build end-to-end AML processes: sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, case management, SAR reporting
• Select and integrate third-party tools; define data/system requirements and ensure technical integration
• Establish internal controls, governance (RACI), KPIs, and regular reporting/audits
• Manage discovery, write BRDs/PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria; support development and UAT
