💼 About This Role

You'll join the Platform Engineering Team at Qualified to construct and maintain critical backend systems that form the backbone of operations. Your core impact will be ensuring these systems are robust, secure, and capable of supporting complex real-time interactions. You'll also mentor other engineers and drive engineering excellence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain critical backend systems for operations
• Develop scalable, high-performance backend services
• Continuously improve system performance and optimize bottlenecks
• Mentor engineers and set standards for engineering excellence

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack or backend software development
• Expert-level proficiency in AI-assisted software development tools
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Python, or Go
• Experience with SQL, RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred), and cloud platforms like AWS

• Experience leading large-scale projects and mentoring developers
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
