Description

You will lead and scale localization initiatives across Mozilla products, ensuring localization readiness from design through release by partnering with UX, Content, Engineering, language service providers, and a global community of volunteers. You'll drive end-to-end localized releases, define quality strategies, and optimize delivery while shaping the long-term localization direction.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in localization processes, workflows, and industry formats
• Experience with online translation software, CAT tools, and TMS
• First-hand experience localizing software or web content at scale
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Fluency in at least one language other than English or deep linguistic understanding

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale localization initiatives with volunteer localizers
• Drive end-to-end localized product releases, defining testing and quality strategies
• Own localization requests from internal partners, coordinating intake and execution with LSPs
• Make data-informed trade-offs to optimize time-to-delivery, quality, and resources
• Partner with engineers to design localization-ready features and improve tooling
