You'll serve as technical lead and systems architect for launch and ground support hardware for the Terran R vehicle. You'll guide design, integration, and launch execution while resolving complex engineering challenges across teams. This role offers unmatched exposure to first flights and high-cadence operations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead system architecture and technical direction for launch hardware.
• Create preliminary concepts and conduct design and manufacturability reviews.
• Coordinate across vehicle, launch, manufacturing, test, and ground systems teams.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations during integration and launch.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in mechanical, structural, or launch systems.
• Experience serving as technical lead or systems architect for complex programs.
• Ability to define requirements and guide cross-functional teams through design challenges.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience supporting launch site operations and hardware integration in aerospace.
• Familiarity with structural, fluid, or ground support systems (high-pressure gas, cryogenic, hydraulic).
• Experience with NASA, DoD, Space Force, or aerospace industry standards.
