💼 About This Role

You'll lead perception and sensor fusion development for autonomous warehouse robots at a fast-growing Austin startup. Your work will directly impact reliable, high-throughput robotic systems that solve real logistics challenges daily.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Detect and estimate 6-DoF poses and 3D dimensions under occlusion.
• Integrate and synchronize multi-modal sensors (cameras, LiDAR, IMU).
• Perform extrinsic/intrinsic calibration techniques.
• Implement lightweight localization methods for constrained environments.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in robotics perception and sensor fusion.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS 1/ROS 2.
• Hands-on experience with industrial 3D cameras, LiDARs, IMUs, and radar sensors.
• Deep understanding of multi-sensor calibration techniques.

• Exposure to SLAM-lite or marker-based mapping approaches.
• Prior work with cloud-based monitoring/logging (AWS RoboMaker, Azure IoT).
