Description

You will support the development and integration of hardware components for drone platforms and counter-UAS systems, working closely with the flight test team to design, build, modify, and test prototypes. This hands-on role involves CAD design, 3D printing, wiring, and field testing.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar)
• Strong hands-on experience in building and tinkering (e.g., model aircraft clubs, university design teams, personal projects)
• Experience with CAD software
• Familiar with 3D printing and basic workshop tools
• Practical knowledge of electronics integration and wiring
• Interest in drones, UAV systems, and counter-UAS technologies
• Structured, independent, and proactive working style
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical and electrical prototyping of drone systems
• Assist in CAD design of components and assemblies
• Manufacture and modify parts using 3D printing and workshop tools
• Perform cable harnessing and wiring work
• Integrate electronic components, radio links, and communication modules
• Support hardware integration and preparation for flight testing
• Assist during field and flight test activities
• Document prototypes, iterations, and improvements
