Description

In this role, you will lead legal research, develop strategies for shareholder engagement on corporate issues, and oversee the Viewpoint Diversity Index. You will also handle media interviews and public speaking to advance ADF's mission.

Requirements

• J.D. and active license in at least one US state bar
• 5+ years of legal experience
• Bachelor's degree in political science, public affairs, or related field
• Experience with SEC filings and shareholder engagement

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex legal research and analysis on state/federal legislative and regulatory issues
• Develop testimony, public policy, position papers, and reports on corporate engagement
• Develop and execute shareholder engagement strategies, including drafting proposals
• Defend shareholder proposals from SEC no-action requests
• Oversee the Viewpoint Diversity Index and manage a team of research analysts
