Description

In this strategic regional leadership role, you'll expand MongoDB's AI-native marketing strategy in the Bay Area by building relationships with VCs, founders, and accelerators. You will design and execute high-impact programs like hackathons and founder dinners to drive awareness and adoption among high-growth startups.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in marketing, community, or events focused on startups or developers
• Experience managing high-performing teams
• Deep familiarity with Bay Area startup ecosystem and established relationships with VCs and founders
• Experience working in or with startups or venture capital firms
• Comfort engaging technical audiences and understanding startup engineering workflows

Responsibilities

• Serve as MongoDB's representative in the Bay Area startup ecosystem, building relationships with VCs, founders, and influencers
• Design and execute targeted acquisition strategy to engage and convert high-potential startups
• Lead ecosystem strategy including VC-partnered events, demo days, hackathons, and founder dinners
• Collaborate with Brand and Digital teams to amplify startup initiatives across social and owned media
• Define and track metrics for startup engagement, optimize strategy based on insights
