💼 About This Role

You'll lead the IT Engineering function at DroneDeploy, a reality capture platform combining robotics and AI for industries like construction and energy. You'll own core IT operations, drive automation, and enable a remote-first workforce to work securely and efficiently. This role is a player-coach position reporting to senior Infrastructure and Security leadership.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead IT Engineering as a player-coach, balancing hands-on work and team leadership
• Own IT support performance, queue health, and project execution for distributed workforce
• Manage identity and SaaS lifecycle across Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian
• Drive SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness, including evidence collection and access reviews

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of IT or IT engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Okta or comparable identity platforms (Entra, JumpCloud)
• Managing macOS fleets with MDM tools like Iru, Jamf, or Kandji
• Scripting ability in Python, Bash, or Zsh with automation track record

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI tools like Cursor, Claude, or Copilot in daily workflow
• Knowledge of MCP servers and Cowork skills adoption
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 IT controls
