You'll manage a distributed team of software engineers building a revolutionary AI-powered camera platform. Your leadership will directly shape the development of complex video and robotics systems that operate in real-time. You'll stay hands-on with coding while guiding the team through technical challenges.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a remote team of engineers across the US and Mexico.
• Design and maintain software for the Iris platform in TypeScript, Go, and Rust.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Product Development and ensure timely communications.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, and capacity management across releases.

📋 Requirements

• Several years of experience coaching, mentoring, and leading software engineers.
• Strong demonstrated interest in distributed computing, robotics, AI/ML, video, or complex IoT systems.
• Proficiency in JS/TS, Go, and Rust (or willingness to learn Rust).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• Awareness of challenges in a small, fast-paced startup environment.
