💼 About This Role
You'll own avionics testing for the highest-powered electric propulsion system ever flown. In your first year, you'll lead multidisciplinary test campaigns and conduct propulsion system hot-fire tests to ensure reliability and scalability. This role offers the chance to work on a groundbreaking Series C space startup building the largest satellites ever.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Lead setup, execution, and analysis of tests on electronic hardware
- Troubleshoot complex electronics and test setups with engineering teams
- Design and fabricate test hardware, harnessing, and test systems
- Develop modular, reusable test automation software in Linux, Python, C++, Rust
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or other relevant engineering discipline
- 2+ years of experience in hardware testing, validation, or related roles
- Strong programming abilities in Python, C++, Rust
- Experience designing multi-layer PCBAs for high-power or avionics applications

- Experience designing analog control loops, solid state load switches, or motor inverters
- Experience with data acquisition, controls, and dedicated test equipment
- Proficient with circuit simulation tools such as LTspice
