Description

You will lead strategic financial consulting on employee benefit plans, including analyzing cost projections, managing RFPs for self-funded TPA and stop loss submissions, and negotiating with carriers. You will also mentor junior analysts and present findings to clients.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of similar or related experience
  • College graduate, 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Attains Life and Health license and maintains through continuing education
  • Understands underwriting and actuarial computations

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial strategy and consulting on employee benefit plans
  • Prepare and manage RFP for self-funded TPA and stop loss submissions
  • Initiate review of fully insured and self-funded renewals
  • Negotiate with carriers based on client goals
  • Mentor analysts and perform technical review of work
