Description

You will lead the design and implementation of services and tooling to productionize machine learning models behind Opendoor's pricing engine. You'll work with data scientists and engineers to build robust, scalable systems that turn prototypes into high-impact production pipelines.

Requirements

• 8+ years software engineering experience or 6+ with Masters
• Strong proficiency in Python and production code
• Solid experience with SQL queries, joins, indexing, performance optimization
• Proven experience owning data/model pipelines in production
• Deep familiarity with end-to-end ML lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Lead design of services and tooling for ML training, deployment, and monitoring
• Convert model prototypes into production-ready Python code and systems
• Own end-to-end model pipelines: data ingestion, training, validation, deployment, monitoring
• Implement automation for ML lifecycle workflows (retraining, rollbacks, A/B tests, canary releases)
• Drive improvements in reliability, observability, performance, and cost-efficiency
