💼 About This Role

You'll support rolling mill automation and continuous improvement as part of a maintenance team. You'll modify PLCs and HMIs to optimize operations and troubleshoot major failures. This role stands out for its focus on industrial automation and hands-on impact in a manufacturing environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Modify PLCs (GE, Siemens, Allen Bradley) to support operations
• Modify HMIs using GE Cimplicity, Ignition, or Rockwell Automation
• Troubleshoot automation, communication, and HMI issues
• Lead initiatives to improve alarm reporting and system stability

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering
• 5 years manufacturing experience programming PLCs
• PLC programming on Rockwell and Siemens S7-1516
• PLC communication protocols (Profibus/Profinet)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GE Genius Block I/O networks
• Experience with IBA analytical tools
• Experience with ABB LV and MV drives
