💼 About This Role

You'll lead SoSafe's business-critical Messaging Platform, responsible for outbound communication across all products. You'll build reliability, scalability and compliance by default, and drive operational excellence through improved monitoring and incident response. Partner with Product and other Platform teams to drive impact across the organisation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own and lead the Messaging Platform for all product communication.
• Absorb implementation complexity for delivery mechanics and compliance.
• Translate engineering strategy into a clear, outcome-driven roadmap.
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring and incident response.

📋 Requirements

• Led and grown engineering teams with coaching experience.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and turning strategy into execution.
• Experienced operating business-critical services in cloud-native environments.
• Understand building a platform for internal dev teams.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-native engineering tools like Claude or Cursor.
• Background in cybersecurity or security awareness.
• Experience with Node.js (NestJS) in microservice architecture.
