Description

You will own and evolve Base's social presence across platforms, from daily crypto Twitter conversations to large-scale ecosystem storytelling. This role blends marketing, ecosystem growth, and communications to shape how Base shows up online and engage with builders, creators, and the broader crypto community.

Requirements

• 6+ years managing social media or digital content for high-growth technology, crypto, or internet-native brands
• Experience leading teams, building content strategy, and developing talent
• Deep familiarity with crypto culture, communities, and platforms
• Ability to craft clear, concise, and culturally relevant posts for technical and non-technical audiences
• Data-driven with experience using analytics to evaluate performance and inform strategy

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social strategy across platforms including X, Farcaster, and emerging crypto-native networks
• Oversee the Base social team, support their work and development
• Create and publish social-first content communicating Base’s mission, ecosystem activity, and cultural moments
• Partner with builders, creators, and ecosystem teams to spotlight projects and amplify stories
• Track social performance, analyze trends, and refine content strategies to improve reach and engagement
