💼 About This Role

You'll oversee all aspects of the company's tax function, including strategy, compliance, and planning. You'll ensure accurate tax filings, optimize the effective tax rate, and provide strategic insight to senior leadership. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance and review corporate returns.
• Support preparation and review of income tax provisions (ASC 740).
• Manage property, business license, sales and use tax filings and audits.
• Coordinate R&D tax credit studies and Section 174 analyses.
• Lead tax planning and research to minimize liabilities and optimize tax rate.

📋 Requirements

• 8–10 years of relevant tax experience with Big 4 or large corporate tax department.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA preferred.
• Strong background in corporate and partnership income tax compliance, ASC 740, and U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with public company or private equity–backed tax reporting environments.

• Up-C and TRA experience.
• Skilled in tax process automation and modern tax software (e.g., Alteryx, OneSource, Vertex).
