💼 About This Role

You'll join Airwallex's global Regulatory Legal & Compliance Team, managing non-bank payment institution licenses in mainland China. You'll advise on complex regulatory issues and liaise with PRC regulators like PBOC and SAFE. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex issues in a fast-moving global business.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Handle regulatory compliance and risk control issues for mainland China.
• Monitor and report trends in PRC regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance integration.
• Develop and update compliance manuals, policies, and procedures.

📋 Requirements

• 5-7+ years of post-qualification experience in law or compliance.
• 3-4+ years of experience in regulatory compliance with payment and FX laws.
• Sound knowledge of payment services and foreign exchange regulations in China.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience liaising with PRC regulators (PBOC, SAFE).
• Experience managing external counsel on regulatory matters.
