Description

You will design, build, and operate the foundational data infrastructure that empowers analytics and engineering teams at Anduril. This role involves architecting a scalable, self-service data platform, managing cloud infrastructure with IaC, and applying SRE principles to ensure high availability and performance in both commercial and classified environments.

Requirements

• 6+ years in data platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE
• Active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher and experience in constrained environments
• Hands-on experience with modern data stack: Apache Iceberg, Trino/Presto, AWS Athena, dbt, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark
• Extensive experience with Terraform and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps CI/CD (ArgoCD, CircleCI), observability tools (Datadog, Grafana)

Responsibilities

• Lead design and maintenance of scalable self-service data platform
• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Partner with analytics engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to provide robust tooling
• Implement SRE principles ensuring high availability, performance, and observability
• Evolve platform architecture by evaluating new data stack technologies
