💼 About This Role

You will join Five9's in-house Transactions Legal Team to enable revenue growth by drafting, negotiating, and closing complex commercial agreements for our cloud contact center and AI-enabled services. You'll provide pragmatic legal advice on liability, AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity while collaborating with Sales and cross-functional teams. This role offers the chance to shape legal strategy for emerging technologies in a high-growth environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements including SaaS, data processing, and partner contracts.
• Advise internal teams on legal risks related to AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Compliance to close complex transactions.
• Develop and improve contract templates and negotiation playbooks.

📋 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• 7-12 years of combined law firm and in-house experience.
• 4+ years of in-house experience negotiating SaaS and cloud agreements.
• Experience with data privacy and AI-related legal issues.

• Experience with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, CCPA/CPRA.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools.
• Experience supporting product teams with AI-enabled products.
