Description

You will own the design and production of hardware solutions for brain-computer interface devices, collaborating with cross-functional teams from early concept to production, and tackling diverse engineering challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering industry experience
• Strong grasp of engineering first principles
• Experience with DFX, conventional machining, rapid prototyping
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)

Responsibilities

• Explore device architectures and downselect to drive design direction
• Design 3D CAD and 2D drawings with focus on DFX
• Develop and execute test plans for verification and validation
• Identify and resolve manufacturing rate limiters and yield issues
• Write and maintain design documentation for regulatory submission
