Description
You will assemble and test rocket hardware for the Raptor engine, including combustion chamber assembly, welding preparation, and operating heavy machinery. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and the ability to work autonomously on defined schedules.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing.
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted.
- Able to stand for extended periods (8 hours min) and maneuver in tight spaces.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to ITAR requirements.
Responsibilities
- Clean, prepare and assemble combustion chamber assemblies for welding or brazing.
- Operate machinery such as roll formers, TIG welders, and hydro-forming sheet metal.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
- Use precision tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment; perform blending and shearing of sheet metal.
