Description

As a Peer Navigator, you will be a consistent human anchor for callers seeking substance use support, conducting structured clinical intakes using Akido's Scope AI and coordinating rapid care navigation. You'll work closely with SUNs and prescribers to connect callers to appropriate care and ensure retention.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience working for a warmline and/or SUD program
• Comfort performing structured clinical intake workflows and following protocols/scripts
• Strong phone presence and ability to build trust quickly with high-acuity callers
• Fluency with harm reduction and trauma-informed engagement
• High reliability, strong attention to detail, and excellent documentation discipline
• Ability to work fast without cutting corners

Responsibilities

• Warmline engagement support with empathic, structured support
• Clinical intake in Scope following protocols and scripts
• Rapid care coordination including handoffs, scheduling, pharmacy logistics
• Care navigation to appropriate level of care
• Barrier-busting (phone access, transportation, etc.)
• Follow-ups and re-engagement for missed connections/no-shows
• Safety protocols and warm-transfer to crisis services if needed
• Documentation quality and timely entries
• Team collaboration with SUNs, prescribers, and daily huddles
