You'll oversee the design and development of Azul Optimizer Hub, a set of services for cloud-native Java performance. Your leadership will drive engineering excellence and predictable delivery for a product that reimagines how enterprises run Java.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Mentor and lead a team of up to 7 engineers.
• Manage release calendar and report on progress.
• Drive adoption of AI tools and development metrics.

📋 Requirements

• Engineering manager experience for 3+ years.
• Hands-on development in Java or C/C++.
• Kubernetes and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) experience.
• Jira and Confluence expertise for project tracking.

✨ Nice to Have

• Startup or small company experience.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools (e.g., Claude Code).
• Knowledge of Java VM internals.
