Description

You will design and evaluate robotic hardware and software, integrate sensors and actuators into prototype systems, and develop algorithms for robot perception, control, learning, navigation, and manipulation. You'll work within cross-functional teams to benchmark performance and contribute to Samsung's growing focus on AI and robotics.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's in EECS/Robotics or equivalent
• 3+ years industry experience in robotics R&D including foundation models, VLA models, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in sensing, kinematics, dynamics, and control systems on real robots
• Knowledge of computer vision techniques and multi-view image processing
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, C++, ROS, and CUDA

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate robotic hardware, sensors, and software for semi-structured environments
• Integrate sensors and actuators into prototype systems and optimize performance
• Develop algorithms for robot perception, control, learning, navigation, and manipulation
• Deploy data collection and model management mechanisms for in-the-wild data aggregation
• Conduct pilot studies and formal experiments to benchmark performance
