💼 About This Role

You'll join the platform engineering team at Synthesia, the world's leading AI video platform, building distributed backend systems that serve Fortune 100 clients. You'll drive long-term architecture decisions, own reliability and observability, and collaborate across product, security, and infrastructure teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and operate backend services for the enterprise platform
• Own production systems including observability and incident response
• Break down complex problems into iteratively deliverable steps
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable solutions

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience at senior/staff level
• Experience building and operating backend systems at scale
• Strong expertise in backend development and system design
• Experience with enterprise-grade systems (security, compliance, multi-tenancy)

• Full-stack experience
• Previous experience leading projects or mentoring engineers
