You'll participate in tailings management and dam safety programs for steelmaking coal mines in British Columbia's Elk Valley. Your core impact will be supporting operational planning, field inspections, and data analysis to ensure compliance. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage instrument performance using GeoExplorer Software
• Analyze data to support operational planning and reporting
• Support dam safety inspections and field data collection
• Troubleshoot and repair geotechnical equipment

📋 Requirements

• Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License without learner restrictions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Fundamental understanding of Geotechnical Engineering concepts

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GeoExplorer or similar geotechnical software
• Prior co-op or internship in mining or civil engineering
• Knowledge of tailings management regulations
