You'll build data pipelines for Mapbox's Boundaries team, integrating third-party geospatial data sources to expand coverage and improve polygon precision. You'll implement automated quality metrics to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality data to customers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Integrate third-party data sources into data pipelines
• Inspect and edit geospatial data using open-source tools
• Develop geographic data processing pipelines
• Implement automated quality metrics for data delivery

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience with data pipelines
• Proficiency in Python or Java
• Expertise with GIS tools like QGIS, PostGIS, GDAL/OGR
• Experience with AWS (S3, Athena)

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Iceberg, Glue, AWS Step Functions
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD
• Knowledge of pl/pgsql custom functions
