💼 About This Role

You'll lead planning and delivery across the generative model, geometry pipeline, and APIs for a VC-backed startup changing how new homes are designed and built. You'll coordinate with another EM to keep the platform coherent and grow a team of computational geometry engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead planning and delivery across generative model, geometry pipeline, and BDG APIs
• Partner with PMs to scope PRDs, surface constraints, and assess feasibility
• Evaluate technical proposals and route them to Director or ARC
• Coordinate with other BDG EM for coherent technical direction
• Develop and mentor engineers, attract computational geometry talent

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering with significant time in CAD/CAM or computational geometry
• 2+ years managing technically deep engineering teams
• Deep background in computational geometry (boolean ops, mesh processing, BReps, constraint solving)
• Expertise in parametric and generative modeling of 2D/3D geometries
