💼 About This Role

You'll own the operation and maintenance of critical cooling systems for hyperscale AI data centers. Your work ensures that extreme heat densities never compromise compute availability.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Operate and troubleshoot chillers, cooling towers, CRACs, CDUs, and piping infrastructure.
  • Develop and execute MOPs, EOPs, and AOPs for planned and emergency mechanical events.
  • Monitor BMS platforms for cooling system performance and maintain as-built documentation.
  • Perform design reviews and engineering solutions for facility upgrades and capacity additions.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and lead engineering site audits for owned or colocation data centers.

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission-critical facilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with BMS/BAS platforms for cooling system monitoring.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems in mission-critical or data center environments.
  • Experience with direct-to-chip or immersion liquid cooling systems.
  • PE licensure or Uptime Institute AOS certification.
