You'll prepare high-quality meals for guests and crew aboard an expedition vessel, focusing on crew meals, buffet setups, and action stations. You'll assist the Head and Sous Chef in a fast-paced galley environment, ensuring nourishing and balanced food execution. This role offers the chance to work in remote, pristine locations with a pioneering expedition travel company.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook guest and crew meals following recipes and menu matrix
  • Work the action station during meal periods (omelets, carving, sautรฉ)
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down the hot line
  • Help maintain galley cleanliness and adhere to sanitation standards

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years culinary experience on board passenger ships
  • Ability to work on feet for 10-12 hours daily in high-temperature galley
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification required

  • Completion of formal training at a culinary school
  • Experience with passenger vessels
  • Supervisory skills to train and develop junior staff
